Hello Everyone

Today I received an email from another unsatisfied Realty Trade customer, Mary Jo and she is looking at gathering everyone’s information to proceed with a law suit or at least to shut this company down so no one else gets scammed by Realty Trade.

Hello…My name is Mary Jo Orlowski and most of you contacted me via phone or email regarding Realty Trade. Some of this might be repeatative but it is the easiest way for me to keep track.

Some of you responded with costs, dates but some have not. It appears maybe all is not in vain. I have someone who contacted me regarding the suit. I need this from ALL OF YOU, PLEASE… reply to this email with your name, phone, state you live in and how much you paid and when. Also if you remember the rep who sold or dealt with you. Most of you again has done this but some have not and we need to come up with a figure of 75,000 to go to federal court. Please respond….

We have to stick together and get these people out of business. The least get their license pulled. Thanks, Mary Jo

The state of Florida has started investigating timeshare resell companies

Apparently the state of Florida received more timeshare reseller complaints than mortgage company complaints this past year. Here is a link to an article about it, seems as if the end of days may be near for these resell scammers.

Realty Trade Timeshare Resales Update

It has been some time since I have made an update to the blog, like most of us I have been busy working to make a living and busy working getting my todo list complete before winter. There have been a few posts over the past few months from others who have had issues dealing with those scam artists at Realty Trade and I have some very interesting facts which I will be posting in the near future. Let me give you a brief glimpse of what these facts are, I have audio files I created from messages left by Realty Trade where the guy (same voice) gives two different names but the same contact number (to many drugs you think).

I would like to thank those who have posted the scams they have experienced in their dealings with Realty Trade, there is also a post I received whereby the poster states they are very happy with the service they have received from Realty Trade, you can read it here. Speaking of posts, once your post is approved you can post again and you will not require approval by me that said you should see the postings I get from people trying to build backlinks to their site which helps with search engine rankings, I must get six a day, fills my inbox pretty quick.

Realty Trade Timeshare Resell Scam

FYI the reason for the anchor text is for Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Having a important link with anchor text “click here” is VERY ineffective. By using effective keyword the search engine web site crawlers will index words I use, and I have chosen the words I think people are most likely to search on.

When leaving a comment people are required to provide their email address so I can keep a list of all people who have had bogus dealings with Realty Trade. It is my plan to use these email addresses to contact everyone when the time comes because we have enough dissatisfied Realty Trade clients who feel they have been mislead and/or Realty Trade has not met their contractual obligations.

I am still waiting for someone to leave a positive comment about their experience with Realty Trade, I can’t imagine what the odds of there being one out there are.

Cathy provides some great information about her dealings with Realty Trade so please read her post. Not only is it informative but she suggests a class action law suit be filed against Realty Trade so keep the posts coming and I will be more than happy to help as much as I can.

Just because I managed to get my money back from Realty Trade does not mean I am going to take this site down, I REALLY want to help all those taken advantage of by Realty Trade, so spread the word and lets get as many posts on this blog as possible.

Realty Trade Refunded My Money

Believe it or not I finally got my $2400 CDN back, I was checking my credit card account and low and behold there was a credit. Now I am not saying my view of Realty Trade has changed, in fact my resolve is even stronger. After all the phone calls, filling out complaint forms with the Florida BBB and my credit card company they returned my money.

The thing which I think about is, “now was that so hard Realty Trade?” or “why was I forced to go through all that effort to get my money back”

I am still convinced Realty Trade is a two bit scamming company and am going to leave this site going until everyone who posts here has had a satisfied resolution to their issue.

I will be contacting Realty Trade soon to let them know of this site and the conditions of it remaining up or being taken down.

Even though my issues with Realty Trade are resolved I know what it is like to be in a bad position with them so I remain dedicated to helping anyone else who is in a bad position and being ignored or lied to by Realty Trade.

Today was to be the day Realty Trade refunded the money they took from my credit card without my authorization. I made four calls over a period of two hours, finally on the fourth call I left a message for Jack Devaun of Realty Trade to call me. His contact information is 1-800-420-9865 ext 421 and is the processing department manager I believe although it is hard to understand the message he left last week on Thursday July 30, 2009. I have attached a copy of the message Jack Devaun of Realty Trade left on our voice mail. If you listen to it you will hear he is looking for my wife Carmen and not me at all, I find this interesting because they (Hal Herrin) did not put my wife’s name on the contract.

A rep from Realty Trade called today and left a message. It appears they want to talk to me about refunding the money they took from me WITHOUT my authorization. I will be calling them to see what happens and update the blog as things develop.

I can’t wait this should be interesting.

Florida Better Business Bureau

I found a post in a blog which said you can report any business to the Better Business Bureau of the state where the business operated. I googled the BBB for Florida and found their site, upon searching the BBB site for the company Realty Trade I found there to be MANY complaints in action and many resolved as well so I figured it could not hurt and I filed a complaint. I will update the blog of course as things develop
